The pagoda was originally an affiliated structure of Balong Temple, which no longer exists, leaving only the pagoda standing. It is a seven-story brick pagoda in the pavilion style, approximately 23.9 meters high. The base is square and solid. The pedestal is 0.62 meters high with sides 3.65 meters long. The first to fifth stories feature brick arched gateways, and the first to sixth stories are adorned with wooden-style bracket sets (dougong) under the eaves. The base is wide.

In May 2013, Zhonglizhuang Balong Temple Pagoda was designated as part of the Seventh Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Zhonglizhuang Village: Located at the foot of the Emei Ridge south of Ronghe Village, the residences of Zhonglizhuang Village are built along the ridge’s orientation. It lies to the east of the Emei Ridge, west of Baiyegou, adjacent to Nanlizhuang to the south and Jiaxiang Village to the north. It serves as a transportation hub for the seven southern villages of Ronghe Town. Geographically, it sits on the Emei Ridge terrace, with three gullies and four ridges to the east and five gullies leading directly to the Yellow River to the west, while the area north of the village consists of flat, fertile farmland. The village has a population of over 1,700, with 427 households divided among 9 residential groups, and cultivates 3,456 mu of arable land.
