Nanning Underwater World is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a science education base.

The Nanning Underwater World complex is located within Nanning People's Park and has two entrances: the main gate entrance and the sea lion theater entrance. It features twelve themed play areas, including: the Central Exhibition Hall, the Underwater Corridor, the Millennium Turtle Pool, the Exotic Shell Museum, the Coral Museum, the Shark Performance Hall, the Dreamy Water Path, the Underwater Sightseeing Boat, the Underwater Tunnel, the Underwater Wonders, the Sturgeon Museum, and the Sea Lion Performance Hall. It showcases four main featured entertainment performances: the Sea Lion Show, the Love Between Humans and Sharks, the Manta Ray Feeding Show, and the Underwater Ballet. There are also a variety of rich and colorful marine life characteristic demonstrations: pomfret hunting demonstrations, pufferfish inflation displays, blacktip shark hunting shows, electric eel shocking displays, archerfish hunting shows, lionfish hunting displays, stonefish hunting demonstrations, and cuttlefish color-changing shows. Young visitors can enjoy various educational and fun activities while observing different marine creatures. The Sea Lion Theater offers even more exciting and entertaining human-sea lion performances that are not to be missed. Various marine organisms and

actor props allow visitors to explore and take photos. You can also sample snacks from both northern and southern China or purchase exquisite traditional marine handicrafts and souvenirs.

Nanning Underwater World simulates the marine ecological environments of various water bodies, presenting the mysterious, ever-changing, and colorful underwater world to the public through its diverse marine life. It is a venue that combines sightseeing, knowledge, education, research, and fun, and is also one of Nanning’s premier premium tourist attractions.

The underwater world showcases living marine creatures, allowing people to see firsthand the types of fish they rarely encounter or may have never even heard of. Coupled with a lifelike simulated ocean environment, visitors can visually experience the beauty and vastness of the ocean.

Nanning Underwater World is divided into nine sections: the Main Hall, the Underwater Corridor, the Rare Coral Section, the Shell Museum, the Shark Performance Hall, the Dreamy Water Path, the Time Tunnel, the Underwater Sightseeing Boat, and the Underwater Garden. Teenagers can touch marine life here, watch performances such as the Love Between Humans and Sharks, archerfish shooting water, pufferfish inflating, electric eel shocking, pomfret hunting shows, and the symbiotic relationship between clownfish and sea anemones. There are also fun quizzes that allow youths to learn about the ocean through games, thereby fostering ocean conservation awareness. The venue is also home to many nationally protected animals, such as sea turtles, red-tailed fish, and Chinese horseshoe crabs, among more than ten species.
