Yuhuashi Ecological Tourism Area is located in Chongdeng Village, Gongyi Township, Taiping Subdistrict, Jiangzhou District, Chongzuo City, situated along the Zuojiang River. Within its 3-square-kilometer area, the rocks display uniquely vibrant colors and peculiar shapes. Multicolored Yuhuashi pebbles accumulate into plump, rounded stone formations in a riot of hues, resembling morning glow or rainbows, covering an enormous expanse. This is an extremely rare landscape resource discovered so far not only in Guangxi but also across the whole country. The wondrous craftsmanship of nature has shaped bizarre rock formations — some resembling a thousand-year-old turtle, others a massive ancient ship, a sea lion gazing at the moon, a fairy descending to earth, drums, peaches, or stones standing alone, nestled together, or embracing one another. The area features caves and perforated rocks like skylights; towering cliffs and steep walls that look like barriers or unfurled curtains; landslides that have created ravines and narrow sky windows. Whether it's rocks, cliffs, mountains, ravines, cave openings, or sinkholes, every part is ablaze with color. The area’s terraced stone platforms are arranged in sequences, and as visitors ascend from one level to the next, it symbolizes a step-by-step rise in fortune. Everywhere you look, the rocks are richly textured and dazzlingly multicolored. Nestled against the mountain and beside the river, the scenic area boasts enchanting views including secluded valleys, ancient forests, rocky caves, and tunnels — with scenes inside the caves and caves within the scenery, offering a new view at every step. Due to its extraordinary geology and the presence of numerous ancient and mysterious Zuojiang cliff paintings, this tourism destination is of exceptional quality, offering high value for sightseeing, exploration, and scientific research.
