The Chongzuo Zhuang Museum serves as a base for science education and patriotic education.

The Chongzuo Zhuang Museum is located on the western section of Shijinglin Road in the southern new district of Chongzuo City. It officially opened in October 2012 and is the first prefecture-level Zhuang museum in China dedicated to showcasing the history and culture of the Zhuang people in Chongzuo. It is also a national third-grade museum and a featured museum of Guangxi. The museum has a total construction area of 12,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters. Its architecture incorporates typical Zhuang cultural elements such as Huashan rock paintings, bronze drums, and Zhuang brocade, giving it a distinctive regional character. The first floor houses the lobby, lecture hall, office area, and supporting leisure spaces for visitors, while the second and third floors are entirely dedicated to exhibition spaces.

Currently, the museum houses a collection of 5,300 items (sets), including three major categories: historical relics, folk items, and revolutionary artifacts, among which nearly 200 items (sets) are classified as precious cultural relics. Permanent exhibitions include “The Divine Craftsmanship of the Luoyue People — Exhibition of the Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art Cultural Landscape” and “Exhibition on the History and Culture of the Zhuang People.” Thematic temporary exhibitions are also regularly presented. The museum frequently organizes a variety of rich and colorful social education activities centered on ethnic culture. It is recognized as an Autonomous Region Patriotic Education Base, Autonomous Region Model Base for Minors’ Ideological and Moral Education, Autonomous Region Science Education Base, Autonomous Region National Unity and Progress Demonstration Base, Chongzuo Social Science Popularization Base, and Chongzuo Youth Ethnic Culture Education Base.
