The Longhong Scenic Area, famous for its picturesque rural landscapes, is situated 9 kilometers north of Bama County and spans around 20 square kilometers, including the entire area of the 16 natural villages in the administrative village of Longhong. The Longhong River is crystal-clear and vibrant green, with ancient banyans and graceful bamboos arching over the water’s edge, gently touching the ripples. Towering green peaks stand in rows on both banks, fields bloom like brocades, and villages peek through the scenery. Captivating attractions include: Sword-like Emerald Pool, Goddess Grooming Herself, Mini Stone Forest Scene, Intertwined Trees by the Riverbank, Guanyin's Blessed Spring, and Twin Lions Sharing Affection.

With its serene and tranquil beauty, the Longhong Scenic Area is nothing short of a paradise on earth. Nestled among green mountains and clear waters, it has nurtured numerous centenarians. Notable long-living residents include the centenarian sisters Lu Dehua and Lu Demei, the centenarian mother-daughter duo Luo Xiuzhen and Lan Meifeng, and the centenarian brothers such as Luo Laoliu. Each natural village has had its share of centenarians over the years. The entire scenic area is embraced by mountains and water, rich in lush vegetation, making it an ideal haven for longevity, wellness, and vacationing.
