Renshouyuan Scenic Area is the former residence of Deng Chengcai, an elderly longevity figure to whom the Qing Dynasty Emperor Guangxu, through the Guangxi Provincial Military Governor Academy, presented a plaque inscribed with “Only the Benevolent Shall Live Long.” It is the birthplace of Bama’s longevity culture and the only cultural-themed scenic spot in Bama. Covering an area of fifty acres, in addition to the three-courtyard traditional residence, the site includes specialty food workshops, amusement facilities, health-focused restaurants, and folk song and dance performances. It is a resort destination that integrates Bama’s longevity culture, wellness culture, filial piety culture, and culinary culture.
