Qiaoleng Tunnel

Qiaoleng Tunnel, also known as the "Fairy Cave," is located in Gaoling Town. The tunnel stretches 480 meters in length, approximately 40 meters in width, and 20 meters in height. Inside, the naturally formed karst features are well-developed, with dense stalactites hanging like curtains, crisscrossing passages, and numerous stone stalagmites on the ground that resemble a fairy scattering flowers, an old fisherman fishing, monkeys playing, and beasts gathering in celebration. It is said to be a gathering place for immortals. In 1970, the mountain-piercing entrance was completed, and the following May, photos of the tunnel were exhibited at the Canton Fair, attracting domestic and international visitors, including guests from France, the Netherlands, Laos, and other countries. Xi’an Film Studio once shot the documentary "The Vast Land of Clear Waters" here. In 1982, it was listed as a county-level cultural heritage site.
