Rising to the west of the county town, Cui Ping Mountain is composed of tiers of elegant peaks, resembling a circular chair. With lush, layered summits, uniquely striking and towering forms, steep cliffs stretching horizontally, and encircling the entire city, it presents a majestic and spectacular sight, much like a giant screen — hence its name. The mountain features Bat Cave Rock, as well as Guanyin Rock and Fushou Rock within. To its left are Lion Rock, and to its right, White Tiger Rock, Zhenxian Rock, and others dotting the landscape. At the foot of the mountain, stone stalagmites stand in forests, and clear springs flow perennially. Zhenxian Rock serves as a revolutionary martyrs' cemetery. The two rows of mountain ranges are arranged in parallel and overlap, with the main peak of the front row standing over 400 meters high and that of the rear row exceeding 600 meters. The mountain range runs from south to north, extending approximately 1.5 kilometers from its southern end to its northern end, with a surrounding width of about 10 kilometers. Within the mountains are several cup-shaped valleys. Zhang Ruisheng, a poet from Anyang Town, wrote the poem "Cui Ping Mountain": "Rain and dew bathe the screen; / Fresh winds cleanse the emerald green. / A mighty lion crouches in place, / While a bat soars high alone. / Crystal waters glide before the mountain, / And Anyang unfolds before the eyes. / Layered rocks bear inscriptions of blessing and longevity, / The Bodhisattva embodies boundless compassion."
