Fen Shui Battle Martyrs' Cemetery

Fen Shui Battle Martyrs' Cemetery is a classic red tourism attraction.

Located on Zhugan Mountain in Yuhu Town, it is a patriotic education base that integrates ideological education, military training, and tourism. A monument to the martyrs of the Nanchang Uprising Fen Shui Battle was erected at the main peak of Zhugan Mountain, with an inscription written by the former Vice Chairman. The entire monument covers an area of 234 square meters, with a pure stone structure body, standing 14.42 meters tall with a 4-meter-wide base, divided into two levels of steps, surrounded by railings. It is one of the more magnificent martyr monuments among many in Chaoshan, and in 2002 it was designated by Guangdong Province as a “Provincial Key Martyrs’ Memorial Building Protection Unit”; in December 2009, it was designated by the provincial government as a national defense education base. In 2009, the cemetery had completed the construction of the martyrs' monument, the martyrs' public cemetery, the Heroes' Gate, and the memorial pavilion, while also constructing a mountain-looping road and planting 500 acres of longan trees around the site. The cemetery is open to the public and has received visits from numerous cadres, civilians, and students from within the province.
