Covering 35.4 hectares, Chiayi Park and the Arboretum, as well as the Wuliu Garden Leisure Farm, offer clean water, fresh air, and lush grasslands, perfect for giving your busy mind and body a breath of forest. The scenic beauty of Lantan Scenic Area’s Moon Shadow Altar and musical fountain shines both day and night. The Love Wood Village and the Husheng Story House tell the stories of the spirit of the cypress grandfather and the resilient husheng leaf.

North Gate Station is the starting point of the Alishan Forest Railway’s steam-powered mini trains and also serves as the cargo distribution hub for the Alishan Railway. All daily necessities transported up the mountain along the Alishan Railway pass through here, making it an important site with unique charm.
