Baoshan Lake Tourist Area

The Baoshan Lake Tourist Area is located in Yunlu Town, Jiedong District, and is a key construction project of Guangdong Province as well as a nationally selected tourism project.

Centered around promoting Chaoshan culture and preserving natural landscapes, Baoshan Lake aims to create a comprehensive tourist destination integrating functions such as nature sightseeing, leisure vacations, business receptions, cultural experiences, and health & elderly care.

The total planned area of Baoshan Lake is approximately 6.464 square kilometers, with proposed functional zones including a comprehensive tourism service area, a Chaoshan cultural experience zone, a Fulu Lakeside recreational area, a Baofeng outdoor exploration & camping zone, and a mountain forest health & wellness resort zone.

Currently, the scenic area has completed attractions such as Guanlou Tower, Taochan Bamboo Courtyard, the Retro Pavilion, the Educated Youth Forest Farm, Suihan Residence, the Floating Bridge, the Dinosaur Park, the Wish Corridor, and hiking trails. According to the scenic area management, construction is currently being expedited to further improve various attractions and supporting facilities, with the goal of officially opening to the public by the end of 2017.
