Fengnan Hundred-Zhang Waterfall is located in the mountainous region of northern Chao'an County. It derives its name from its position at the southern foothills of the Phoenix Mountain Range.

The area features the unique She ethnic folk customs, the spectacular Xianzhu (Fairy Bamboo) sight, and the majestic Hundred-Zhang Waterfall. Among these, the She ethnic culture is the highlight, characterized by a strong rural atmosphere and natural beauty. These distinctive tourism resources draw visitors from far and wide. Wan Yao and Shan Li are two villages in Fengnan Town where the She ethnic community still maintains traditional lifestyles and customs. At the hillside in front of Daping Village, rolling peaks rise one after another. On the rocky slope stand two large banyan trees with thick trunks and lush foliage. A six-foot-thick, over ten-zhang-long (approximately 33 meters) bullvine (a type of liana) stretches across the trunks of the two banyan trees, branching out as it extends. The vine branches twist and hang down like combs, curling into all kinds of peculiar shapes and intertwining with the banyan leaves. The banyan trees stand about ten zhang (approximately 33 meters) tall, with branches and leaves covering an area of around sixty square zhang (approximately 200 square meters). The dense green canopy, coupled with the entwined bullvine, resembles a green veil draped over the treetops. Beneath the banyan trees lies a natural cave. Upon entering through the cave mouth, there is a passageway for people to walk through, winding deeper inside. Inside the cave, there are natural stone beds and stone chairs. After walking several dozen steps, one can see fresh bamboo shoots hanging under rocks, presenting a dazzling sight. Looking up through the crevices in the rocks, you can see verdant green bamboo growing upright on the stones. With green bamboo growing from the rock tops and bamboo shoots sprouting from beneath, this is truly a magnificent view known as the "Fairy Bamboo Wonder."
