The Ancient Marine Erosion Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Chaozhou City.
The Ancient Marine Erosion Site, located at the southern foot of Niutou Mountain in the northwest of Meilin Lake, Anbu Town, is a marine erosion landform and serves as a testament to the geological changes in the Chaoshan region.
Anbu Town: As the seat of Chao’an County, Anbu Town is located in the hinterland of eastern Guangdong and at the junction of the three Chaoshan cities. Covering a total area of 30 square kilometers, it administers 31 village committees and 19 neighborhood committees, with a total population of 127,000 and over 80,000 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
