Anbu Wen Temple

Anbu Wen Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Guangdong Province.

Anbu Wen Temple, located in Fuxing Community, Anbu Town, Chao'an District, was built in the sixth year of the Tianqi era of the Ming Dynasty (1626). It enshrines the God of Literature, Wenchang Dijun, and Confucius. The structure has three courtyards, with a post-and-lintel wooden frame supported by bracket sets. The roof of the rear hall features a double-eaved hip-and-gable design, and the beams and various interlocking and cantilevered elements are adorned with exquisite Chaozhou wood carvings.
