The Posijiling Ancient Trail is a cultural heritage site protected by Chaozhou City.

The Posijiling Ancient Trail is located on Posijiling in Chinei Village, Wenci Town, Chao'an District, and its historical period is undetermined.

In 2016, the Posijiling Ancient Trail was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Chaozhou City.

Chinei Village: Chinei Village

Chinei Village is located within Chishui Village, that is, further inside than Chishui, hence the name Chinei (meaning “inside Chishui”). The entire village is surnamed Lin. The village was established in the 27th year of the Wanli era during the Ming Dynasty (1599), and its founding ancestor, Lin Jiru, came from Wangjinglou in Chaozhou City. Chinei is known as a “fruit kingdom,” with famous produce including loquats and persimmons. The village is also a hometown of overseas Chinese. Since the 15th year of the Daoguang era in the Qing Dynasty (1835), more than 1,200 villagers have emigrated to Southeast Asia. In 2005, the village had a total of 120 households and 520 residents; it comprised 220 mu of arable land and 1,139 mu of mountainous land.
