Longhu Ancient Village is a cultural heritage site protected by Chaozhou City.

Longhu Ancient Village is located in Shitou and Weiwu villages, Longhu Town, Chao'an District, dating back to the Ming Dynasty to the Republican era.

In 2006, Longhu Ancient Village was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Chaozhou City.

Shitou Village: Shitou Village is the seat of the People's Government of Longhu Town. Together with Weiwu Village, it is collectively known as Longhu Village. Historically called Tanghu Fort and referred to as Longhu Market in old records. It borders the Han River to the east, neighbors Guchao Village to the west, adjoins Weiwu Village to the south, and is close to Sanying Village to the north. The population is 6,000. The village was established during the Northern Song Dynasty. It was originally named Tanghu due to its location east of the Han River and surrounded by ponds on the west, south, and north sides. After the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Longhu. Later, due to administrative division, it was split into two administrative villages: Shitou and Weiwu. The village has a long history and rich cultural heritage, especially prominent during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
