The Residence of Zizheng and Tomb of Shen Shengbang are located in Huayi Village, Caitang Town, Chao’an District, dating back to the Republic of China period.

In 2012, the Residence of Zizheng and Tomb of Shen Shengbang were designated as cultural heritage conservation units of Chaozhou City.

Caitang Town: Located on the lower reaches plain of the Han River, adjacent to the county seat of Chao’an, Caitang Town is traversed by the Chaoshan Highway and the Guangmeishan Railway. It covers an area of 45 square kilometers, governs 32 village committees and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of 100,600. In 2002, the town’s total industrial and agricultural output value reached 2.64 billion yuan, foreign trade exports amounted to 22 million US dollars, industrial and commercial tax revenue totaled 29.8244 million yuan, and the per capita rural income was 4,305 yuan.
