Yuetang Ancestral Hall is a Chaozhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

Yuetang Ancestral Hall is located in Gusan Village and Gusizhi Village, Guxiang Town, Chao'an District. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On April 16, 2020, Yuetang Ancestral Hall was designated as part of the fourth batch of Chaozhou Municipal Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Guxiang Town: Guxiang Town is situated in the hilly and semi-mountainous areas west of the Han River. The town covers a total area of 62 square kilometers, featuring a complex terrain with higher elevations in the northeast and northwest, and lower in the southwest. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides — the northeast and northwest are mountainous regions, the central area consists of hills, while the southern part is a plain. The main peaks are distributed in the northeast and northwest, characterized by high ridges and deep valleys with significant undulation. The mountain ranges are divided into eastern and western branches, each comprising dozens of peaks of varying sizes and heights. The highest point in the area is Maodingding in the north, with an elevation of 324.5 meters, serving as the boundary between Guxiang and Dengtang as well as Tiandong.
