The former residence of Hong Lingfei is located in Hongsha Village, Jiangdong Town, Chao'an District. It dates back to 1902 and is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative building.

On April 16, 2020, the former residence of Hong Lingfei was designated as part of the fourth batch of Chaozhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Jiangdong Town: Jiangdong Town is located at the southeastern tip of Chao'an County, along the lower reaches of the Han River. Surrounded by water on all sides, it is commonly known as "the town in the stream." The town borders the urban area of Chaozhou to the north and connects to Chenghai City to the south, serving as a transportation hub for Chaozhou, Chenghai, and the Shantou Special Economic Zone. The town covers an area of 38.4 square kilometers, with 22,400 mu of arable land, a population of 69,800, and 48 natural villages. It administers 29 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee. There are nearly 30,000 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residing in the town.
