Guiban Wo Yun Thatched Cottage

Guiban Wo Yun Thatched Cottage is a Chaozhou municipal cultural relics protection unit and a classic red tourism attraction.

Guiban Wo Yun Thatched Cottage (the former site of the founding assembly of the Fourth Detachment of the Minyuegan Border Guerrilla Unit of the Chinese People's Liberation Army) is located in Guiban Village, Dongxing, Fenghuang Town, Chao'an District. It dates back to 1949 and is classified as an important modern historical site and representative building.

On April 16, 2020, Guiban Wo Yun Thatched Cottage was announced as part of the fourth batch of Chaozhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units.

Fenghuang Town: Fenghuang Town is located more than 30 kilometers north of Chaozhou City, in the northern part of Chao'an District. It borders Raoping to the east, Dabu to the north, and Fengshun to the west, covering a total area of 231.73 square kilometers. The elevation ranges between 350 and 1,498 meters, with lush green mountains surrounding the area and crisscrossing mountain ranges. The terrain slopes gently from the northeast to the southwest. The region features competing peaks and cascading streams, with the main peak of Phoenix Mountain, Wujishan, standing at 1,497 meters above sea level, making it the highest peak in eastern Guangdong.
