The Old Temple of the Heavenly Queen (including the New Temple) on Ma’yu Island is located on Ma’yu Island in Longhu District. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an important modern historical site and representative architecture.
On November 19, 1988, the Old Temple of the Heavenly Queen (including the New Temple) on Ma’yu Island was designated as a Shantou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
