The Chen Family Ancestral Temple of Wanshi is a cultural relic protection unit of Shantou City.

The Chen Family Ancestral Temple of Wanshi is located on the east side of No. 3 Nanlai Road, Wanshi Village, Outing Subdistrict, Longhu District. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty and is classified as an ancient architectural structure.

On October 10, 2014, the Chen Family Ancestral Temple of Wanshi was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Shantou City.

Outing Subdistrict: Located in the northeastern part of Shantou City, Outing Subdistrict of Longhu District stretches from the west bank of the Xinqin River in the east bordering Waisha Town, to Dongdun Subdistrict of Jinping District in the west, adjacent to Longxiang Subdistrict along Shanzhang Highway in the south, and reaching Meixi River in the north neighboring Qishan and Anbu. Covering an area of 15 square kilometers, it has a permanent population of 43,000. Established in 1996, Outing Subdistrict administers 18 communities: Oushang, Ouxia, Xipan, Jibei, Wanshi, Longmei, Caochi, Yanling, Jinzhou, Dangjiayuan, Chencuozhai, Caishi, Tiezhou, Xixi, Jiudi, Xindi, Liumei, and Jin’ou, 17 of which are agricultural communities.
