The Dongkengzai Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Dongkengzai Site is located on a hill northeast of Houzhai Town, Nan'ao County. It dates back to the early Bronze Age and belongs to the Fubin Culture. It was discovered in 1990. Artifacts unearthed from the cultural layer include pottery and stone tools. Pottery items consist of wide-mouthed zun vessels, pots, jars, dou vessels, pedestals, supports, lids, beaters, and net sinkers, among which pedestals and supports are relatively numerous. Decorative patterns include ladder-grid, checkered, double-line checkered, basket, and lozenge patterns. A small number of pottery pieces have glazed surfaces. A square, six-faced pottery beater has impressed patterns on all four sides; this rare tool used for imprinting pottery designs also indicates the presence of a pottery workshop here. Stone tools include trapezoidal adzes, segmented adzes, concave stones, grinding stones, and spinning wheels. No dagger-axes were found among the artifacts, and glazed pottery is rare, leading to the inference that the site belongs to the early period of the Fubin Culture. Sites of the Fubin Culture have been rarely discovered in the past, and the uncovering of the Dongkengzai Site provides important material for studying the lifestyle of the Fubin Culture inhabitants.
