Former Residential Site of Educated Youth in Guicheng

The Former Residential Site of Educated Youth in Guicheng is located in Guicheng, Huanghua Mountain, Nan'ao County, Shantou City. Backed by Longjing Mountain and facing Yingshi Mountain, construction began in December 1974 and was completed in April 1975. The project was carried out by the construction team from Hui'an County, Fujian Province, under the supervision of Ke Deli from the professional team of Huanghua Mountain Forest Farm. Built with strip stones, it covers a site area of 3,720 square meters with a built-up area of 582.5 square meters, and features a concave-shaped layout. It consists of 23 rooms of various sizes, serving as accommodation for educated youth who went to the countryside during the late 1960s and 1970s.
