The Langjin Ming-Qing Ancestral Hall Complex was built over a span of more than 300 years, from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the early Republic of China. It consists of the He Clan Ancestral Hall, Peilu He Ancestral Hall, Biaoshan He Ancestral Hall, Xiyuan He Ancestral Hall, Renxuan He Ancestral Hall, Miaoshan He Ancestral Hall, and Tianxiang He Ancestral Hall. Although constructed in different periods, they follow a strict hierarchical order with a unified architectural style—all featuring flush-gable roofs, hip-and-gable firewalls, decorative ridge ornaments made of grey plaster at the entrance gates, grey brick walls, granite stone plinths, and unified beam frameworks that combine both through-tenon and raised-beam structures. These are classic examples of Lingnan architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The walls are adorned with paintings and poems featuring realistically portrayed figures. On December 15, 2006, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Foshan City by the Foshan Municipal People’s Government.
