Shuangjiangkou Bridge

Shuangjiangkou Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Hunan Province.

Shuangjiangkou Bridge is located in Shuangjiangkou Village, Shaxi Township, Miluo City. The entire bridge is constructed of granite stone, with a total length of 43 meters and an orientation of 305 degrees. The bridge deck is paved with strip-shaped granite stones, and is 1.2 meters wide. It has 8 piers, each measuring 3.95 meters in length and 1.26 meters in width, with a spacing of 3.5 meters between piers. It serves as a major transportation route connecting residents on the western bank of the Mei River. Built in the late Qing Dynasty, Shuangjiangkou Bridge is representative of its type and was an important new discovery during the third national cultural relics survey.
