Dagong Pond Site

The Dagong Pond Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Liling City.

The Dagong Pond Site is located in Gongtang Group, Shiqiao Village, Lishanba Town, dating back to the Han to Jin dynasties.

On January 12, 2012, the People's Government of Liling City announced it as the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Liling.

Protected area: 80 meters beyond the edges of the site’s cultural deposits in all directions.

Construction control zone: 50 meters beyond the protected area in all directions.

Lishanba Town: Shenfugang Town and Lishanba Town were merged to establish Chashan Town.

A township under the jurisdiction of Liling City. In 1950, it belonged to the Seventh District; in 1951, to the Eighth District; in 1956, to Chashanling Township; in 1958, to Chashan Commune; in 1961, Lishanba Commune was established; in 1984, it was re-established as a township. Located in the southwest of the city, 33 kilometers from the municipal government, covering an area of 41 square kilometers with a population of 16,000. The township government is stationed in Longjing. It governs Shiqiaopu, Dashisi, Lishanba, Luoling, Miaocai, Baihe, Lengshui, Jiangfu, Jiaocun, Nantang, Youwu, Changfu, Shangcha, Dabachong, Xia...
