Lijia Long Site

The Lijia Long Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Liling City.

The Lijia Long Site is located in Lijia Long Group, Jingchong Village, Dongfu Town, dating back to the Yuan–Ming dynasties.

On January 12, 2012, the People’s Government of Liling City designated it as part of the city’s fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units.

Protected area: 80 meters outward from the edge of the cultural deposit on all four sides.

Construction control zone: 50 meters outward from the protected area on all four sides.

Dongfu Town: A township under the jurisdiction of Liling City. In 1949, it belonged to Chudong Township; in 1950, it was part of the Third District; in 1951, it was in the Fourth District; in 1956, it became Lindi Township; in 1958, it was part of Baliao Commune; in 1968, it was renamed Dongfu Commune in honor of the memorial site Dongfu Temple; in 1984, it was changed to Dongfu Township. Located in the eastern part of the city, 8 kilometers from the municipal government, covering an area of 62 square kilometers with a population of 26,000. The township government is stationed at Chalu Kou.
