Former Site of the Wenhua Association

The former site of the Wenhua Association is a cultural heritage protection unit of Liling City.

The former site of the Wenhua Association is located in Zhongxin Group, Shuangjiang Village, Wangxian Town, and dates back to 1927.

On January 12, 2012, the People's Government of Liling City designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Liling.

Protected area: starting from the outer wall foundation, extending 30 meters in all four directions.

Construction control zone: extending 50 meters beyond the protected area in all four directions.

Wangxian Town: Located in the eastern part of Liling, Wangxian Town is 14 kilometers from the city center. It governs 19 villages and 3 neighborhood committees, with a population of nearly 30,000. The town covers an area of 58.28 square kilometers, including 14,045 mu of arable land. National Highway 106 and the Liling-Liuyang Railway run across the area, providing convenient transportation.

The agriculture of Wangxian Town mainly focuses on planting high-yield, high-quality rice. In recent years, with the advancement of agricultural industrialization, large-scale cultivation of greenhouse vegetables and other cash crops has begun.
