Overview: The kiln site spans approximately 3,300 square meters. The original cultural deposit layer measured 1.8–3.5 meters in thickness. Remaining sections of the dragon kiln are 13 meters long, 6 meters wide, and 3 meters high, featuring an arched roof. Inside the kiln are abundant fragments of ceramics such as bowls and cups. The celadon glaze is tinged with gray and yellow, and features underglaze decoration. The body is white, with many ring-footed vessels. Simple floral patterns are painted on some pieces. The craftsmanship is relatively coarse, indicating it was a rural, civilian-use porcelain kiln site.

Baishaxu Township is located in the southern part of Yizhang County. It borders Guangdong Province to the southeast, sits 34 kilometers from the county seat, covers an area of 84 square kilometers, and has an elevation of 204 meters. The population is 20,000. The township government is seated in Baishaxu. It has road access. In 1949, it belonged to Bafang Township; in 1950, to Bafang District; in 1956, it became Baishaxiang Township; in 1958, it was renamed Bafang Commune; in 1961, it was changed back to Baishaxu Commune; and in 1984, it reverted to township status.
