Tomb of Madam Lu

The Tomb of Madam Lu is a cultural heritage protection unit of Chenzhou City.

The Tomb of Madam Lu is located in Ximen Village, Chengnan Township, Yizhang County, and dates back to the Later Zhou Dynasty.

In 2012, the Tomb of Madam Lu was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Chenzhou City.

Protected area: starting from the outer edge of the tomb, extending 20 meters in all four directions.

Construction control zone: an additional 20-meter buffer zone extending outward from the protected area in all four directions.

Chengnan Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Yizhang County. In 1949, it belonged to Jincheng Township; in 1950, it was part of Jincheng District; in 1958, Chengnan Commune was established; in 1961, it was divided into Chengnan and Chengxi communes; in 1964, they were merged back into Chengnan Commune; in 1984, it was restructured as a township. Located in the southwest of the county seat, it borders Guangdong Province to the south, covering an area of 132 square kilometers with a population of 31,000. The township government is stationed in Gubeiling. National Highway 107 and Provincial Highway 1803 pass through here.
