Liuyangxi Tourist Resort

Liuyangxi Tourist Resort is located in Zhuye Ping Township, Sangzhi County, Zhangjiajie. It was comprehensively developed by Zhangjiajie Lou Shui Tourism Development Company. After four years of development and construction, the second phase of the project has now been completed, providing a certain level of reception capacity. In 2013, the resort received over 50,000 visitors, most of whom were from within the province. The planned investment is 24 million yuan, with 8 million yuan already invested. Leisure and tourism activities include: Liuyangxi Leisure Farmstead, Lou Shui Flat Lake Cruises, stream surfing, water sports, cycling, fishing, and other recreational activities. Roast whole lamb is the resort’s signature dish.

Built against the mountains and beside the water on the foundation of ancient Tujia stilted houses, Liuyangxi Tourist Resort features ethnic-style villa complexes that reflect an ancient and rich traditional ethnic lifestyle. The architecture is simple and elegant, the environment is serene and picturesque, and the living facilities are fully equipped.
