Morning Glow on the Zi River

After the main course of the Zi River flows from Watan in Xinhuang County into Anhua County, it runs west to east across Anhua and Taojiang counties as well as Heshan and Ziyang districts, eventually emptying into the South Dongting Lake near Fengshutang in Ziyang District, stretching 280 kilometers in length. Within the territories of Anhua and Taojiang counties, the Zhuxi and Majitang hydropower stations have been built respectively. Along both the northern and southern banks of the main stream above Yiyang City, there are 272 tributaries each over 5 kilometers in length, with a total length of 3,655.74 kilometers (including 5 tributaries in Ziyang District totaling 76.45 kilometers).
