Fengdui Lian Revolutionary Site

The Fengdui Lian Revolutionary Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hunan Province.

The Fengdui Lian Revolutionary Site is located in Nanfeng Village, Changchun Economic Development Zone, Ziyang District. It is a municipal-level cultural heritage site and was originally the branch ancestral hall of the Liao family. Built in 1922, it served as a base for early Communists to carry out underground revolutionary activities in secrecy. In 1938, Zuoyu School was established here and it later became an important contact point for the Chang-Yi Central County Committee of the Communist Party of China. It was a key site where revolutionary pioneers such as Gao Wenhua, Shuai Mengqi, and Liao Lianshan promoted the anti-Japanese salvation movement, earning it the reputation of "Yiyang’s Anti-Japanese Military and Political University."

In 2019, the Fengdui Lian Revolutionary Site was approved as part of the tenth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites in Hunan Province.
