The Banqiao Residential Houses are a cultural heritage site protected by Hubei Province.

Banqiao Residential Houses

Located in Fengjiawan, Banqiao County, Nanzhang County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty. There are currently 105 existing rooms. The complex features five main gates and consists of three courtyards both at the front and rear, with corridors and gateways connecting the courtyards and rooms. This was the ancestral home of Mr. Feng Zhefu, who served as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Director-General of the State during the Provisional Government of the Republic of China in the period of the Xinhai Revolution.
