Leigongzhai Ruins

The Leigongzhai Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected by Hubei Province.

Leigongzhai Ruins

Located in Kouquan Village, Donggong Town, Nanzhang County. This is a mountain stronghold site dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Built along the mountain terrain, it has an irregular oval layout and is entirely constructed of stone. The fortress walls are broad and sturdy, with gates on the east and south sides. There are 35 houses within the stronghold. It is one of the more well-preserved ancient mountain strongholds in Hubei Province. (Fifth Batch)
