The Zengjiaping Tomb Cluster is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

The Zengjiaping Tomb Cluster

Located in Zengjiaping, Shuanglongsi Village, Banqiao Town, Nanzhang County, this is a Qing Dynasty tomb cluster comprising two burial areas. One is the tomb of Wang Hui and his wife, measuring 6.72 meters in length and 5.5 meters in width, and consisting of three parts: the tomb mound, enclosing wall, and entrance gate. The tomb mound is located in the middle-rear section of the burial site, with a double-eaved hip-and-gable style stele pavilion erected in front. The stele body has two layers: the outer layer features a rectangular niche in the center, with relief carvings of figures and floral patterns on the upper part and sides of the niche. The other burial area consists of three tomb gardens, including the Zhang Wangui Tomb Garden. All structures in these tomb gardens are made of stone. The exterior of the tomb mounds is enclosed by walls, with an octagonal gate wall at the front, a rectangular arched gate, and decorative carvings of dragons, ancient coins, and other motifs on the facade wall, eaves, and wall tops. In front of the mounds stands a double-eaved, memorial archway-style stele pavilion. (Fifth Batch)
