Within the grounds of Kaifeng Tumor Hospital, there stands a typical British-style building known as the Klein House. Without a guide, it’s hard to find this cultural landmark. This Western-style building stands out prominently amidst modern structures. Despite years of weathering, it still stands firmly.

The Klein House faces east and is a three-story Western-style brick-and-wood structure with a basement and over 30 rooms of various sizes, including bedrooms and living rooms. It is fully equipped, rationally designed, and rigorously laid out, covering a construction area of 357.02 square meters. The Klein Residence remains well-preserved and is listed as one of the fifth batch of cultural heritage sites protected by Kaifeng City. Although its original owner is no longer with us, the Klein House, as a historical site of modern Kaifeng, remains vivid in people's memories. When passersby go by, they often say that this was once the home of Klein, a private residence once blooming with flowers, and they also talk about the stories that took place there...
