Liuzhuangying Ancient Theater
The foundation of the Liuzhuangying Theater stage was built in the 46th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1707 AD), and the theater itself was completed in the 14th year of the Jiaqing reign (1809 AD). Modeled after designs from Bozhou, Anhui, the theater features an innovative design, rigorous structure, elegant charm, stately grandeur, intricately carved beams and painted rafters, vibrant colored decorations, simple yet refined aesthetics, and a majestic presence. It is honored as the finest among the "Three Great Theaters of Hebei Prefectures" and is considered a treasured piece of ancient architectural heritage in our city. It holds significant reference value for the study of ancient Chinese theater architecture and the history of theatrical arts.
