Chongqing Temple in Xinxiang is a cultural tourism attraction.

Chongqing Temple (also known as the Upside-Down Pagoda Temple), fully named Ancient Jiexiu Chongqing Temple, was first built during the mid-period of Qi Ping in the Southern and Northern Dynasties (570–575 AD), boasting a history of nearly 1,430 years. According to ancient inscriptions, the temple has endured many trials and has been repaired and rebuilt several times. The temple originally had the “Three Buddhas Hall,” “Arhats Hall,” and “Heavenly King Hall,” with the “Fire God Hall” and “Guanyu Hall” on the left, and the “Plague God Hall,” “Sixth Patriarch Hall,” and a bell tower on the right. Behind the Three Buddhas Hall stood a “Longevity Pagoda.” The temple covered an area of over 80 acres and, throughout its history, was “prosperous in incense offerings, majestic, splendid, and renowned far and wide.”
