Ancestral Master Temple

The Ancestral Master Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Built in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, the temple faces south with a northward orientation and includes structures such as the front hall, rear hall, mountain gate, and side halls. According to an inscription on a public virtue stele carved during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was renovated in the 25th year of Emperor Kangxi’s reign, and during the Yongzheng era, folk artisans meticulously carved a set of ceremonial canopies and a divine palanquin, which were enshrined in the temple. After the liberation, the ceremonial canopies and divine palanquin were transferred by cultural relics authorities to Beijing and other places for exhibition.

After centuries of natural erosion, the original appearance of the Ancestral Master Temple had severely deteriorated. In 1991, villagers and religious figures raised funds to renovate the temple and restore it to its former state.
