Xinxiang Sports Center

Xinxiang Sports Center is a public–commercial facility invested in by the Xinxiang Municipal Government with 150 million yuan, completed in 1996. It integrates sports competitions, fitness activities, entertainment, leisure, sightseeing, and shopping. It is not only one of the few first-class large-scale sports venues in Henan capable of hosting various domestic and international events, but also the largest and most comprehensively equipped public fitness base in Xinxiang’s history, as well as the location of Xinxiang’s electronics market. The sports center covers an area of 124,300 square meters (183 mu), with a total construction area of 34,000 square meters. Its main structures include a modern international-standard gymnasium, a 200-meter athletic training track, outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, badminton courts, a 12,000-square-meter commercial podium, and 36,000 square meters of gardens and lawns.
