Jiaozuo People's Square

Jiaozuo People's Square is located in the new urban district of Jiaozuo, covering a construction area of 150 mu (approximately 10 hectares) with a total investment of 57 million yuan. It mainly consists of the H-Pattern Square, Heaven-Earth Square, Strolling Square, and Leisure Square. By employing modern Western landscaping techniques and incorporating the essence of traditional culture, it creates a tranquil, lively, and rhythmic landscape that embodies the principle of harmony and coexistence between humans and nature. In particular, the H-Pattern Square reflects the government’s people-oriented philosophy. At night, the square’s digitally controlled fountain interacts brilliantly with the dynamic lighting of the surrounding office buildings, presenting a dazzling sea of lights and offering residents a vibrant, colorful environment for sightseeing and leisure.

Surrounding People's Square are various green squares of different sizes, as well as the Qián-Kūn Square nestled among lush trees. At Qián-Kūn Square, a black and white sphere symbolizing the union of yin and yang stands at its center, while the ground is inscribed with texts about Jiaozuo’s historical and cultural figures and the origins of Tai Chi. The area is rich in cultural atmosphere. The "Three Rams Bring Prosperity" sculpture is also located here, symbolizing that both ancient and youthful Jiaozuo is moving towards a brilliant future—progressive, innovative, and full of vitality in the new century.
