The Liu Family Mound Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Henan Province.

Address: Liuzhuang Village, Fujizhen Town, Xiangcheng City

Fujizhen Town: Located in the southeastern part of the city, Fujizhen borders Shenqiu County to the east and southeast, neighbors Xinqiao Town to the west and southwest, and adjoins Guanhui Town to the north. It covers an area of 47 square kilometers, with 43,035 mu of arable land. The town administers 21 administrative villages and 104 natural villages, with a population of 51,863. The town government is located in Liuzhuang.

Legend has it that during the Song Dynasty, Empress Cao took a boat ride for leisure along the Grain Transport River. When the boat reached this area, she saw a dense thicket on the southern bank with pleasant scenery, so she disembarked to explore. Noticing that several households were quite prosperous, she remarked that this place was “Fuji” (meaning a concentration of wealthy households).
