The Liao Dynasty Mural Tomb Complex is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Liao Dynasty tomb murals were built in the sixth year of the Tianqing era of the Liao Dynasty (1116 AD). Since the first excavation of the tomb of Zhang Shiqing, an imperial censor of the Liao Dynasty, in 1973, nine other Liao Dynasty mural tombs belonging to individuals such as Zhang Guozheng, Han Shixun, and Zhang Wenzao have been discovered, forming the Zhang Family Clan Mural Tomb Complex.

During the excavation of the tomb complex, in addition to uncovering a batch of precious cultural relics, over 300 square meters of well-preserved Liao Dynasty colored murals were also discovered. Among them, murals depicting scenes such as musical performances, tea ceremonies, astronomy, processions, attendants, and preparing scriptures were found for the first time in China, providing significant insights into the history, culture, and astronomy of the Liao Dynasty.
