Beijing Railway Dongwangshan Villa

Beijing Railway Dongwangshan Villa is an ecological tourism zone developed by the Zhangjiakou Construction Section of the Beijing Railway Bureau. It was built in response to the national policy of converting farmland back to forest and grassland, aiming to establish a green barrier for the northwestern part of the capital and to develop a diversified economy.

The zone was established in 2002 as an ecological tourism area.

The villa is located at the foot of the Great Wall in Dongtong Village, Dongwangshan Township, 21 kilometers from Zhangjiakou City and 17 kilometers from Xuanhua. Backed by Dongwangshan Mountain and facing Liuhe River Valley to the south, it sits at an altitude of 986 meters and covers an area of 1,100 acres. The area contains natural mineral water. The villa has now been developed into a green ecological park integrating planting, breeding, leisure, tourism, conferences, and training.
