The Sanzhangxinzhuang Warring States and Han Dynasty Storage Pits and Site

In Sanzhangxinzhuang Village, Gaobeidian Town, artifacts unearthed from a storage pit include large gray pottery jars, gray pottery round-bottom tripod jars, gray pottery jars, and sand-tempered red pottery cauldrons. Additionally, a three-legged iron ding and an iron jar with a chain were excavated from an ancient well, with small chicken-leg and celadon-glazed jars found in the upper layer of the well’s fill. Furthermore, a gray pottery jar was unearthed from an ancient well in the western part of the village. The jar features mostly coarse and fine rope-patterned designs, with a few basket-patterned ones. Over 30 artifacts have been excavated from the village in this excavation.
