China Doors and Windows Museum

The China Doors and Windows Museum is located in China International Doors and Windows City, Gaobeidian City. It is currently the world's only professional museum themed around doors and windows. The museum covers an exhibition area of 7,000 square meters, houses over 3,000 exhibits, and currently displays more than 1,100 pieces. It brings together top global door and window design concepts, showcasing doors and windows that meet any energy-saving standards worldwide, as well as those with varying noise-reduction levels. The exhibition also features high-tech and intelligent products. With a timeline as its framework, the museum comprehensively displays the historical evolution of doors and windows, interprets their cultural significance, and highlights contemporary high-tech, energy-efficient door and window products, offering visitors an extraordinary environmentally friendly, smart, and tech-driven living space.

The museum is divided into seven sections: the Ancient Chinese Doors and Windows Gallery, the Modern Doors and Windows Gallery, the Contemporary Doors and Windows Gallery, the High-Tech Doors and Windows Gallery, the Energy-Saving Doors and Windows Experience Area, the Future Home Experience Area, and a leisure water bar.

The Ancient Doors and Windows Gallery collects and displays various wooden doors and windows, stone windows, brick windows, and glazed windows from the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The Modern and Contemporary Doors and Windows Gallery mainly showcases the evolution of doors and windows from the 1950s to the present, including: wooden windows, steel windows, regular aluminum alloy doors and windows, plastic-steel doors and windows, thermal break aluminum alloy doors and windows, wood-aluminum composites, aluminum-clad wood, solid wood doors and windows, as well as fiberglass, aluminum-plastic, and copper doors and windows.

The High-Tech Gallery primarily displays high-energy-efficiency door and window products from developed countries in Europe and America.

The Energy-Saving Doors and Windows Experience Area and the Future Home Experience Area mainly showcase high-tech products such as wind-sensitive, rain-sensitive, smoke-sensitive windows, security windows, electrically operated windows, smart ventilation, new products, and concept products. The High-Performance Doors and Windows Experience Area focuses on experiential learning, featuring ultra-insulated and ultra-soundproof performance comparison zones, conceptual experiences of sunrooms, wood cable systems, and energy homes, as well as small interactive experiences such as water resistance testing and opening/closing experiments of doors and windows.

The museum also includes supporting facilities such as a leisure water bar, providing visitors with comprehensive and thoughtful services.
