Wangjiazhai Folk Village

The Wangjiazhai Folk Village in Anxin County was built in July 2002 as a new-style fishing village, covering an area of 300 acres with an investment of 6 million yuan. Each household in the village can accommodate 10 guests, allowing the entire village to host up to 400 visitors simultaneously.

Each household has its own courtyard, featuring elegant layouts adorned with flowers and plants. The interior decor combines traditional charm with modern flair, featuring both traditional heated brick beds and stoves as well as urban-style modern elements. Guests can either cook their own meals or enjoy pre-prepared dishes. The cuisine mainly features local fishing village specialties, while the food highlights the unique flavors of the water town. Meals and accommodation are offered at low prices but high quality. The village offers activities under the theme “Dian Jia Le” (Pleasures by the Lake), including rowing and fishing, cormorant fishing, exploring reed maze labyrinths, admiring lotus flowers and birds, enjoying folk music, watching yangge dance and drum performances, viewing woven reed crafts, engaging in water fights, attending plays, listening to traditional tunes, watching folk performances, releasing river lanterns, setting off firecrackers, and lighting bonfires. On weekends, the village gets very busy, so advance booking is required if you wish to stay here.
