Baiyangdian Yuanfei Lotus Garden

Built in 2001, the Baiyangdian Yuanfei Lotus Garden in Anxin County covers an area of approximately 1,800 acres. It was once a place where Li Shier, the favored concubine of Emperor Zhangzong of the Jin Dynasty, came to admire lotus flowers. The garden centers around natural ecological tourism and is divided into a sandy beach swimming area, a lotus viewing area, and a reed marsh recreation area.

The lotus viewing area has added a 70-meter-long lotus appreciation corridor, a kilometer-long water floating bridge, three arch bridges, and a statue of Yuanfei. These features perfectly blend natural and historical culture. The area offers wide waters, a tranquil environment, and beautiful scenery. The lotus ponds are equipped with several small wooden boats and bumper boats, allowing visitors to venture deep into the lotus fields and immerse themselves in floral beauty. Activities available include boating, motorboating, seaplanes, lotus appreciation, reed marsh mazes, and performances of the Wild Geese Squadron attacking Japanese transport boats.

The reed marsh recreation area features ingeniously designed mazes. For visitors escaping the hustle and bustle of the city, venturing into the vast reed marshes to explore and discover offers a unique experience.
